Tuesday & Wednesday
Arrival in Seoul & Residence Check-In

Fly into Incheon International Airport (ICN). Our team will be waiting to transport you to Episode Yongsan and help you settle in.

You may choose to arrive on either day at no extra cost.

June 25 – 26
Thursday & Friday
Convocation & Orientation

Two full days to meet your cohort, your mentors, and the city. Campus orientation at Ewha, emergency procedure training, SIM card distribution, and your first immersive field walk through Seoul.

June 29
Monday
Ewha Korean Language Course Begins

Day one of 120 hours. Classes run Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, for six consecutive weeks at Ewha Womans University.

Cinematic Immersion & Discussion

After Sunday’s introductory readings, we gather for a weekly film screening. These carefully selected films immerse you in the sights and sounds of each historical era, providing an engaging visual foundation for the week ahead.

Museum Visits & Expert Lectures

Deepen your understanding through curated museum excursions or special Q&A sessions with guest lecturers. These sessions provide academic context and expert insight into our weekly historical themes.

Thematic Activities & Independent Study

Wednesdays offer optional thematic activities. Students may also use this time to rest, explore Seoul’s diverse neighborhoods, or focus on their Korean language studies.

Mentor Sessions & Cultural Exploration

Meet with undergraduate mentors for personalized Korean tutoring ahead of Friday’s quiz. Afterward, mentors lead the way to Seoul’s hidden gems, from trending cafes to local favorites.

Individualized Capstone Project (ICP)

Friday afternoons are dedicated entirely to your bespoke ICP track — from K-pop dance and taekwondo to PhD-level research and fashion design.

Weeks 1 – 6
Thematic Field Study

Each Saturday is a full-day immersive field study tied to the week's historical unit — from the DMZ and Bukhansan to Nami Island and Lotte World Tower.

Week 4 Weekend
July
Overnight Trip — Suncheon & Gwangju

The program's signature overnight excursion. Two days exploring the Jeolla Province, culminating in a special briefing on the 5.18 Democratic Movement.

August 7
Friday
Ewha Korean Language Course Concludes

Final exams and last classes at Ewha. Transcripts will be issued following the program.

August 10
Monday
ICP Showcase & Completion Ceremony

Every scholar presents their six-week capstone project at our graduation showcase. Certificates of completion issued from both SeoulQuest and Ewha. Final graduation banquet to follow.

August 12 – 13
Wednesday & Thursday
Departure from Korea

Our team will provide airport transfer to Incheon. August 11 is the program "finale." Students are encouraged, though not required, to attend this special celebration.

You may choose to depart on either day at no extra cost.

Every Sunday marks the start of a new historical unit, explored through expert colloquiums, immersive field studies, curated cinema, and thematic cuisine. Each week builds on the last, so by the end you hold the full arc of one of the world's most remarkable national stories.
