02
English Proficiency Ability to converse comfortably in English with staff and global peers. If you can navigate this website easily, you likely qualify.
03
Intellectual Resilience Emotional and intellectual maturity for a rigorous six-week residential program abroad. Curiosity is more important than perfection.
04
Health & Logistics Good physical and mental health; able to procure a valid passport and any necessary entry visas for Korea before June 2026.
05
Genuine Commitment A real drive to master Korean language and culture through active investigation — not just a line on a college application.
06
Not Required Prior Korean language knowledge, letters of recommendation, or SAT/ACT scores are not required. We evaluate your own voice and academic record.
How to Apply — 5 Steps

A straightforward process, designed to evaluate curiosity — not credentials.

01
Confirm Your Eligibility
Review the six criteria above. If you meet the academic, age, and health requirements, you're ready to move forward. Not sure? Book a free consultation with our director first.
02
Consult Your Parents or Guardians
SeoulQuest requires written permission from all parents or guardians with custody. Our director Sarah moved to Korea at 15 and is available to speak directly with families who have questions about safety, logistics, or the program's long-term value.
03
Submit Your Application
Complete the online application and upload the following:
  • An unofficial high school transcript showing your current GPA.
  • A personal statement (250–500 words) on your aspirations for the program and how you plan to use your ICP.
  • Initial thoughts on your ICP track (Taekwondo? Fashion design? Research? Something else?).
  • Standardized test scores are optional — include them only if you believe they add context.

We will notify you of your document screening result within two weeks of submission.

04
The Admissions Interview
Selected candidates are invited to a 30-minute video interview with our admissions team. This is a chance for us to assess fit and for you to demonstrate your intellectual curiosity. Prepare to discuss your goals, your ICP idea, and why Korea.

Please be mindful of time zones when scheduling. We work with applicants across all regions.

05
Secure Your Place in the Cohort
Successful candidates receive a decision within seven calendar days of their interview. To confirm your spot:
  • Confirm intent to participate via email.
  • Review and sign the 2026 Participation Agreement.
  • Submit a 10% deposit within 14 days of acceptance. Full balance due by May 1, 2026.
