The application portal for the SeoulQuest 2026 Pre-College Program is now open. We invite ambitious students to review the following instructions and eligibility requirements before beginning their candidacy.
We will accept only 24 scholars for our 2026 cohort. Given the high level of interest, we operate on a rolling admissions basis. We encourage you to apply early to secure your place in the 2026 SeoulQuest cohort.

*Note: If all 24 spots are filled before the April 30 deadline, applications will close early. As of today, spots are being filled on a first-come, first-served basis for qualified applicants.

Confirm Your Eligibility

Applicants should meet the following criteria at the start of the program:

  • Academic Standing: Between 15 and 18 years of age; having completed grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 (or equivalent), or graduated within the past calendar year. Minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5/4.0.
  • Language Proficiency: Ability to converse in English with staff and global peers.
  • Resilience: Possess the emotional and intellectual maturity required for a rigorous residential program abroad.
  • Health & Logistics: Be in good physical and mental health; able to procure a valid passport and any necessary entry visas for Korea.
  • Commitment: A genuine drive to master Korean language and culture through active investigation.

Consult Your Parents or Legal Guardians

Choosing a rigorous overseas academic program like SeoulQuest is a significant commitment. We require the permission of at least one parent or guardian to apply. We encourage you to have this conversation early to ensure the program aligns with your family’s educational goals.

Submit Your Application

Complete the online application and upload the necessary documentation:

  • An unofficial high school transcript.
  • A personal essay (250–500 words) detailing your academic aspirations and how you intend to utilize your Individual Capstone Project (ICP).
  • We will notify you of your status within two weeks of submission.

Admissions Interview

Applicants who pass the initial screening will be invited to a 30-minute interview with our admissions team. This is a chance for us to evaluate "fit" and for you to demonstrate your intellectual curiosity. 

Note: Please be mindful of time zones when scheduling your SeoulQuest interview.

Secure Your Place in the Cohort

Successful candidates will receive an admissions decision within seven calendar days of their interview. To secure your spot in the 2026 cohort, you and a guardian must:

  1. Confirm your intent to participate via email.
  2. Review and sign the 2026 Participation Agreement.
  3. Submit a 10% deposit within two weeks of your acceptance.
